Windermere Apartments to be Transformed into Boutique Apartment Homes by

January 2016

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – April 28, 2014 – Today, Weller Residential, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based real estate investment and property management company, announced the closing of recently acquired Windermere Apartments—located in Dunedin, Florida, on Main Street. An intensive renovation of the property, including interior and exterior construction, is set to begin by this summer, with a targeted completion of the property set for late 2015.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to be involved with such a central and well-located community,” said George Quay, managing partner at Weller Residential. “Our vision for the property will be in concert with the exciting continued improvements occurring in the City of Dunedin.”

Weller will embark on a substantial interior and exterior renovation for the community with completion anticipated by the end of 2015. Some of the improvements for the 180-unit community include new roofs, paint, architectural details and lighting on the exteriors, with new appliances, cabinets and flooring being added to interiors. A number of new amenity and community areas will also be added over the course of the next year.

Even the name is being updated—“Liv at Main”—and will reflect the central location of the renewed Dunedin community, which is close to downtown, the beaches, US 19 and Westfield Countryside Mall, which will contain a new Whole Foods Market scheduled to open in the fall of this year. This will be the seventh “Liv” community offered by Weller Residential, with existing Florida locations in South Pasadena, Largo, Tampa, St. Petersburg and two locations in Clearwater.
